NGO Sunce and Blue World have been awarded project financed by the European Union under the program CARDS 2004 “Support to Civil Society Organizations active in the Field of Environment Protection and Sustainable Development” titled"Strengthening the civil society sector for marine protection in Croatia"
The project aims at increasing the capacity and strengthen the position of the marine environment and biodiversity protection NGOs, raising of the awareness and understanding of the public and visitors concerning the need to actively preserve the biodiversity in Croatia’s Adriatic and creation of synergy between stakeholders involved in protection and use of the marine environment – conservationists, authorities and users
