By participating in the Blue World "Adopt a dolphin" campaign you are supporting the Adriatic Dolphin Project and our activities of research and protection of the bottlenose dolphins and their environment around the islands of Lošinj and Cres.
Your donation will help the continuation of our work to increase public awareness at local and national level through actions such as the Dolphin Day, educational lectures at libraries, schools and kinder gardens, and the promotion of the overall protection of Lošinj archipelago.

In the previous years you have been introduced to Vivian, Freccia Bianca, Laura, Giuse, Pinna Vibrante, Paul, Kate, Knife, Faccia, Grifo, Monk and Phil . We can say you know Losinj dolphins quite well by now. Of course, all of the "old ones" are still arround and, as you can see, some of them are good friends with new adoptees. Therefore, we are counting on your support in the future!

This year you can adopt these four dolphins:

Debby

A big, strong and friendly female that had 2 beautiful calves during the last 10 years. She is often seen together with Faccia

Sonja

A very sociable adult female with a distinctive dorsal fin that looks like a sickle. She occasionally enters the Mali Lošinj harbour and often helps out other dolphins as a babysitter.

Sonja

Meta
A very playful young male born in 1992 as Mirna’s first calf. Since the birth of his sister Saturn, he is most often seen with his best friend Mush.

Mush
A quiet and calm male that often socializes with other young dolphins and surprises us with powerful jumps. We believe he acts as a teacher for young dolphins.
