School programme
The education programme for schools is recognised and certified by National Agency for Teacher Training and Education. We have several standard lectures and workshops outlined below, however specialist programmes can be arranged with cooperation between the educators of Blue World and teachers.

We offer many different lectures for school students of different age and professional orientation as well as expanded and adjusted lectures for adults. Of particular interest is the 'Adriatic Dophin Project' lecture, 'Marine Protected Areas' lecture and the 'Marine Turtles' lecture.
The lectures can be held as an independent informational – educational content or as a part of workshops.
Lectures can be held in Croatian, English, German or Italian. Group size is limited to 50 persons due to lecture room space.
Lecture prices (previous notice of group visits is required for lectures):
Individual visitors (min 5 people): 70 kn p.p. (cca. 9.5 eur)
Groups (over 20 people): 45 kn p.p. (cca. 6.5 eur)

Workshops:
In addition to the lectures we offer 5 workshops for elementary and high school students. The methods used in workshops include discussion, oral presentations, demonstration as well as direct observation and independent student's work. The main aim of our workshops is to encourage development of children’s awareness and attitude towards nature as well as their interest for natural sciences. Workshops described here are held in Croatian but we are normally able to arrange for educational programmes held in other languages, primarily English, but also Italian or German.
Dolphin Identification – Three hour long workshop about dolphin biology, ecology and research designed for elementary school students. It is held in the Centre, and the price is 8 euros per student.
Find the dolphins – includes a boat trip – Three hours long workshop includes introductory lecture on dolphin´s biology, ecology and research and two hours of boat excursion in search for dolphins (only in case of stable weather conditions!) It is designed for elementary and high school students as well as for the children with special needs. The price is 35 euros per student due to boat expenses.
The living world of the sea coast - Three hour long educational programme about biology and ecology of most common plant & animal species in the littoral zone designed for elementary and high school students. Lecture is held in the Centre and fieldwork on an accessible part of the sea coast and the price is 8 euros per student.
Dolphin adaptation to life in the sea - Three hour long workshop about dolphin evolution and their anatomical and physiological adaptations to living in the sea, designed for high school students. Lecture is held in the Centre and the price is 10 euros per student.
Marine protected areas - Three hour long discussion workshop about nature and environment protection issues with the main focus on marine protected areas. We recommend it to older students as it requires developed discussion techniques. This workshop is being held in the Centre and the price is 8 euros per student.
Optimal group size for our workshops is 20 to 30 students.
