At the beginning of January 2020, we started the implementation of the project “A new view of the Lošinj archipelago”, financed by the European Union from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund within the framework of the FLAG Tender Measure 2.1. “Conservation of the environment and encouraging sustainable management of natural resources” of the local development strategy in fisheries of the FLAG “Vela Vrata”.

As the first activity, we started with works on cladding and painting the walls of the Lošinj Marine Education Centre, where we had problems with moisture, waterproof plasterboards, and embodied them so that they would be ready for the further stages of the project’s development. Thanks to the project, we breathed new freshness into our Centre ahead of the upcoming tourist season, which we hope will bring visitors back to the Lošinj Marine Education Centre after the coronavirus pandemic.
