Blue World Institute is a partner in a new Interreg Italy-Croatia project: Hadriaticum Data Hub (HATCH). This project is capitalizing on results of the recently finished Interreg Italy-Croatia projects with the aim to harmonize chemical, physical, biological and ecological parameters from various monitoring programs and develop protocols for their application in Marine Spatial Planning, thus contributing to effective conservation of the Adriatic Sea.

The HATCH project has started by holding the first meeting of all project partners on the 21st June 2022 in Udine, Italy. The host of the meeting was University of Udine, the lead partner on the project. This meeting was an opportunity to discuss the main goals of the project, activities needed to achieve those goals and define the schedule for the upcoming months of project implementation. Besides this, project partners have presented the main experiences and outcomes of their previous Interreg Italy-Croatia project.
