The governing bodies of the Blue World Institute are the Assembly, the Management Board, the President, and the Secretary.
The Assembly is the highest governing body of the organisation, consisting of all regular members. It convenes at least once a year at a regular session, which is called by the Management Board.
The Management Board oversees the organisation’s operations between Assembly sessions and is composed of five members. Board members are elected by the Assembly from among the regular members of the Institute for a term of four years.
The President holds an executive role within the organisation—organising and leading the activities of the Blue World Institute and serving as its official representative. The President is elected by the Assembly from among the regular members for a four-year term.
The Secretary is an authorised representative of the organisation in legal and financial matters. The Secretary is elected by the Management Board from among the regular members.
