The Blue World Institute’s natural-history documentary film “The Open Sea”, filmed and produced in cooperation with Institute for oceanography and fisheries from Split and Croatian Natural History Museum has been aired in the A category of the official competition of the “37.World Festival of Underwater Pictures” that has been organised between 27-31.10.2010. in Palais du Pharo, Marselle, France .

During five days over 140 documentaries about the sea and undersea life from all arround the world have been shown. Many of this films have been authored by famous and known authors and recorded in the production of the big TV houses like BBC, Arte, WDR, NHK and others.
