This year we celebrated Dolphin Day for the 32nd time!
For all of us at the Blue World Institute, July 1st is always a very dynamic day when we celebrate Dolphin Day in the cheerful company of participants, most of whom are children. As usual, the trademark of this event is the Treasure Hunt game for children, in which around hundred children took part. More of them joined art workshop in which young creative artists painted a large banner with the Dolphin Day sign, which became the ideal scene for all accompanying activities. The highlight of the celebration was in the evening, when the recovered sea turtle Klaudia was released into the sea in front of the lighthouse on in Veli Lošinj. Numerous visitors to this event watched her far out into the open sea at sunset at the end of another Dolphin Day. See you next year!
This year’s Dolphin Day was organized as part of the activities of the ‘Islands in the Sea of Knowledge‘ project, which was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The content of this publication is the sole responsibility of the Blue World Institute.
